Spring Pilates is a boutique Pilates studio based in Wood Green, N22, offering a blend of 1:1 equipment Pilates and small group matwork. Recently relocated to a beautiful converted Chocolate Factory, we are expanding our timetable to include group Split Pedal Chair classes.
Founded by Kirsty, an APPI-trained instructor, Spring Pilates is known for its clinical yet compassionate approach. Many of our clients come to us with injuries, post-operative needs, pre-hab goals, or long-term conditions such as Osteoporosis or Scoliosis. We are therefore looking for an experienced, confident instructors who can work safely and effectively with a broad range of client needs.
As the studio continues to grow, there are exciting opportunities for the right people.
All of our maternity cover roles will offer the potential to continue to work at the studio long term as we continue to grow.

We’re looking for someone who is ready to step straight in and become part of our small, supportive team. Ideally, you will be available to start in February 2026, to get settled in before taking on the full-time maternity cover role from mid-March 2026.
Key Qualifications & Experience
Fully qualified to teach on Pilates Chair, Tower and Reformer (ideally from APPI, Polestar, STOTT, Alan Herdman, or similar specialised training schools).
Fully insured to teach, including Public Liability Insurance.
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience, ideally including work with clinical, post-operative, or long-term condition populations.
Confidence working independently—you may often run the studio solo and manage challenges or feedback professionally.
This role involves periods of solo studio management, so we are looking for someone exceptionally reliable and trustworthy.
A track record of building strong rapport with clients of varied ages, abilities, and backgrounds.
Role Responsibilities & Hours
This is a self-employed position.
Starting mid February 2026 to learn the studio, meet the clients and on-board. Full maternity cover starting March 2026.
Monday to Friday 20-30 hours per week of 1:1 teaching (demand dependent) - option to also lead group Split Pedal Chair classes, if desired.
Ideally continuing to work at the studio post maternity cover, building your own caseload of clients and working in both individual and group settings.
Building and managing a caseload of 1:1 clients; creating thoughtful, personalised programmes using the full range of studio equipment.
Confidently modifying exercises for client needs, ensuring safe and effective progression.
Demonstrating reliability, punctuality, warmth, and a consistently positive attitude.

Planning and delivering small groups (max. 5 people) split pedal chair classes.
Confidently modifying exercises for client needs, ensuring safe and effective progression.

Working in the centre of Crouch End, N8.
We are looking for a mat pilates instructor to lead 6 very established mat pilates classes each week. These classes are at the following times, please only apply if you are available at these time.
Monday 6:30pm
Tuesday 12noon
Wednesday 6pm
Thursday 10am
Saturday 9am & 10:15am
Key Qualifications & ExperienceFully qualified to teach mat Pilates. (Ideally from APPI, Polestar, STOTT, or similar specialised training schools).

Confident working independently—you will be responsible for setting up the studio and packing the equipment away afterwards.
Manage clients questions or feedback professionally.

This is a self-employed position.
6 hours per week at the times listed above. With an option to add additional permanent teaching hours at our Wood Green N22 studio.
Planning and delivering mat Pilates classes (max. 8 people). Using varied small equipment, keeping them progressive and interesting.
Confidently modifying exercises for client needs, ensuring safe and effective progression.
Demonstrating reliability, punctuality, warmth, and a consistently positive attitude.
